Bay Street runs alongside Browne's Beach which is widely considered to be the best beach in Barbados. This horseshoe-shaped coastline encompasses Carlisle Bay, home to several shipwrecks which are accessible by snorkel. The bay is a popular spot for swimming with sea turtles, snorkeling, scuba diving and kayaking. Note: always be careful entering the water and engaging in water sports if you have been drinking.
