About Barbados Happy Hours

This website, along with its social media channels, was launched in November 2019 with a mission of connecting Bajans and visitors to Barbados with the best Happy Hours at bars, restaurants and clubs across the island.

The mobile app was launched in March 2020.
And in January 2022 the Happy Harry chatbot was completed.
All designed to make it easier for YOU to find the best Barbados Happy Hours!

The site is owned and run by myself Kathy-Lynn Ward, a Barbadian web developer and digital strategist. I’ve worked for over 20 years providing web solutions to local companies, many in the tourism industry (hotels, restaurants, car rentals, tours, etc).

As you can imagine that meant spending quite a bit of time on TripAdvisor! While there I noticed that visitors were constantly trying to find the best places to enjoy happy hour in Barbados and were frustrated with having to search around. This frustration was compounded by the conflicting information across the web and social media.
In talking to friends I realized that Bajans were also having trouble knowing which restaurants and bars they should check out.

After a suggestion from a regular TripAdvisor contributor to the Barbados forum, I decided the time was right to fill this void.

BarbadosHappyHours.com was born!
